Santa’s Dress
This dress is made of soft sparkling velvet. My daughter chose the fabric and she was right, it is really great for a santa’s dress. We should always trust kids for santa’s matters, they know better than us .

This Santa’s hat goes with the santa’s dress that you can find here. It is very easy to sew and will only take a few minutes and very little material. I used a soft velvet so the hat can drop on the shoulder has real ones do.

Christmas coat
This is Holiday time! Barbie has her nice and warm Holiday coat. It is made of red felt and false white fur. It is very easy to sew and felt does not need hem.

Dress of sunshine
This dress comes from a tale from Charles Perrault that is very well known by all kids in France called “Peau D’Ane” (Donkey skin). This is the dress of the color of the sun in the story. I used a gold fabric that frays a lot so it was very hard to sew, I would recommend a fabric more easy to sew. The lining is made of cotton fabric and ribbon is Christmas ribbon.

Purple long dress with train
I wanted to sew a dress with a train for a long time. I had to figure out an easy way to sew the train and still have a beautiful dress. I am very happy with the result and this dress is easy to sew that you’ll want to sew it again and again. I used a light satin fabric that does not fray (well… not much at least).

Silver wrap over cardigan
Here is the second project for your advent Calendar or for Christmas gifts.
I had this little piece of silver fabric and I thought it would make a perfect wrap over cardigan for Holidays (or any other occasion).
It is very easy to sew and should take you only a few minutes. You might want to use a stretch fabric for this creation, it will fit better to the doll.

Black flounce skirt
I am running a little bit late on my first advent calendar present… here it is. A very pretty skirt, and trendy too, I saw some teenagers wearing the same kind of skirt with leggings.
You will need a little bit of patience to sew the frills one by one. I choose a very soft lace fabric, so it took me forever to sew it one by one. But other than that, this is very simple and easy to do. Fits very well for Christmas celebration, isn’t it?

Long sleeves white and blue shirt for Ken
I had this idea when I sewed the Halloween t-shirt for Barbie. (you can find the tutorial here)
You might want to double check the length of Ken’s arms. I have two Ken dolls and for one the shirt is perfect and for the other it’s like a ¾ sleeves shirt… not very masculine!
Talking about that, am I wrong or Ken has enlarged shoulders (compared to my – great old – time)?

Blue pants for Ken
It’s been a while I did not sew for handsome Ken. There are two reasons: First it is very challenging to sew of this doll because it is not as flexible as Barbies are, it’s hard to try clothes on, hard to take measurements and hard to dress him up. The second reason is that there is less choice in the kind of clothe to sew for Ken.
And above all this, I just found out that dimensions are different from one Ken to another.
This pants is made of thick dark blue fabric (like blue jeans). The side pocket gives it a modern style. I was very glad of the result when I was done sewing it.

Barbie Purple light tights
These tights are made from a recycled girl light tights. I cut the fabric on the top of tights. The sewing process is the same as for other tights you can find on my blog, The only difference is that, there is no need to sew a sew on snap, because it’s elasticated. Woo hoo!
