Materiel
Manches : 2 rectangles : 6.5cm x 9cm (2 ½’’ x 3 ½’’)
Col : 6.5cm x 3cm (2 ½’’ x 1 ¼’’)
Dos : 11cm x 9cm (3 ½’’ x 4 ½’’)
Devant : 2 rectangles : 6cm x 11cm (2 ¼’’ x 4 ½’’)
Ceinture : 20cm (8’’)

Phase 1 :
-    Coudre une pince sur chaque pièce de devant au milieu et jusqu’à 6cm (2 ¼’’) depuis le bas
-    Plier les deux tissus en haut pour préparer le col. A 2cm ( ¾’’) en haut et à 6cm (2 ¼’’) depuis le bas. Couper les triangles.
-    Epingler les triangles sur l’envers et les recoudre.
-    Coudre l’ourlet de devant et du col

Phase 2 :
-    Coudre une pince dans le haut du dos sur 5 cm (2’’)
-    Coudre le devant et le dos ensemble aux épaules
-    Coudre les manches

Phase 3 :
-    Coudre les ourlets des manches
-    Coudre les cotés de la veste
-     Plier le col et le coudre en haut

Phase 4 :
-    Coudre un ourlet en bas de la veste
-    Coudre la ceinture
-    Coudre les poches

Step 1 :
-    Sew a pleat on each front piece in the middle. Up to 2 ¼ ‘’ from the bottom
-    Fold the two front fabrics to prepare the collar. ¾ ‘’ on the top and 2 ¼ ‘’ from the bottom. Cut the triangles.
-    Pin the triangles back on the back of the fabrics and sew them back.
-    Sew a hem on each front piece and collar.

Step 2 :
-    Sew a pleat on the top of the back fabric. Length 2’’ (5cm)
-    Sew the front and back fabrics together on the shoulders
-    Sew the sleeves

Step 3 :
-    Sew the hems on the sleeves
-    Sew the sides of the vest
-    Fold the collar and sew it on the top of the vest

Step 4 :
-    Sew a hem on the bottom of the vest
-    Sew the belt
-    Sew the pockets

Phase 1 :
-    Prendre le tissu du devant haut et arrondir au niveau du col, puis coudre un ourlet
-    Coudre les tissus du haut devant et arrière ensemble par les épaules
-    Coudre un ourlet au niveau des emmanchures sur 10cm de chaque cotés (4’’)
-    Coudre les cotés du haut
-    Coudre un ourlet dans le dos

Phase 2 :
-    Coudre la dentelle sur le col et arrondir les bords
-    Coudre le col sur la robe en plissant
-    Marquer la ligne de couture entre le haut et le bas de la robe : 3cm sur les cotés (1 ¼’’) et 2cm au milieu (3/4’’).

Phase 3 :
-    Coudre la dentelle sur la jupe
-    Coudre la dentelle sur le volant de la jupe
-    Coudre le volant sur la jupe au milieu en plissant de temps en temps.
-    Coudre la jupe sur le haut en suivant la ligne de couture

Phase 4 :
-    Coudre la robe à l’arrière
-    Coudre le velcro
-    Coudre le ruban

Voilà !

Velcro
Step 1 :
-    take the top front and cut to round the collar. Sew a hem.
-    Sew the top front to the top back fabrics on the shoulder
-    Sew a hem around the arms up to 4’’ (10cm) on each side
-    Sew the top together on the sides
-    Sew a hem on the back

Step 2 :
-    Sew the lace on the collar and round the sides
-    Sew the collar to the dress. Make the pleats while sewing.
-    Mark the sewing line between the top and the bottom : 1 ¼’’ (3cm)on the sides and ¾’’ (2cm) in the middle. Draw a line.

Step 3 :
-    Sew the lace on the bottom skirt
-    Sew the lace on the skirt fleece
-    Sew the skirt fleece to the skirt
-    Sew the skirt to the top following the line.

Step 4 :
-    Sew the dress on the back.
-    Sew the velcro on the back
-    Sew the ribbon to the dress

J’ai créé ce second maillot de bain à la demande de ma fille qui voulait absolument un maillot de bain avec une jupette. Alors voilà, j’ai changé un peu le haut. Ainsi vous pouvez créer votre propre combinaison pour votre maillot de bain. Pour le plus grand plaisir de vos poupées, car l’été arrive à grands pas.

-    Plier le tissu en deux à l’envers puis dessiner un demi cercle de chaque coté. Laisser 2cm au milieu (3/4”) et 2cm en haut à la taille de chaque  coté
-    Epingler pour que le tissu ne bouge pas puis coudre en suivant les lignes
-    Couper le tissu en trop

Phase 2 :
-    Couper une entaille au milieu du dos sur environ 2cm (3/4”), et coudre un ourlet
-    Retourner le tissu. Epingler l’entaille, comme si le maillot était fermé. Essayer sur la poupée puis coudre les cotés du maillot.
-    Couper le tissu en trop en haut, puis coudre un ourlet
-    Coudre la jupette, plisser de temps en temps
-    Coudre un bouton pression dans le dos

My daughter asked me to sew this second swimsuit, she wanted a skirt attached to the bottom. I slightly changed the top of the swimsuit, so it won’t be exactly the same as the other swimsuit. Now you can make your own combination, and your dollies will be ready for summer fun.

-    Cut on the back on ¾’ (2cm) then sew a hem around it. This will be the opening of the swimsuit.
-    Reverse the fabric. Pin the opening to keep it closed. Try on the doll and sew the sides.
-    Cut the extra fabric on the sides and on the top, then sew a hem on the top
-    Sew the skirt, gather from time to time
-    Sew the sew on snap on the back

Haut :
Phase 1 :
-    Plier les deux rectangles en deux et les coudre en triangle
-    Retourner les rectangles
-    Coudre les rectangles entre eux au milieu

Phase 2 :
-    Plier la bande à l’envers. Coudre la bande sur le bas et sur un coté
-    Retourner la bande et coudre à l’autre bout
-    Coudre la bande sur le bas des deux triangles

Phase 3 :
-    Coudre le ruban en haut des deux triangles
-    Coudre un bouton pression sur la bande

Bas :
Phase 1 :
-    Plier le tissu en deux à l’envers puis dessiner un demi cercle de chaque coté. Laisser 2cm au milieu (3/4’’)
-    Epingler pour que le tissu ne bouge pas puis coudre en suivant les lignes
-    Couper le tissu en trop puis retourner

Phase 2 :
-    Couper une entaille sur 2cm dans le dos (3/4’’)
-    Coude un ourlet sur l’entaille, puis épingler comme pour fermer
-    Essayer sur la poupée puis coudre les cotés du maillot
-    Couper le tissu en trop puis essayer de nouveau et épingler en haut du maillot. Coudre un ourlet en haut
-    Coudre un bouton pression dans le dos

I created this swimsuit with a used swimsuit from my daughter. The fabric is ideal, although a little bit hard to hand sew.

-    Sew the ribbon on the triangles
-    Sew a sew on snap

BOTTOM:

Step 1 :
-    Fold the fabric reverse and draw half a circle on each side. Leave 3/4’’  (2cm) in the middle
-    Pin so the fabric won’t move and sew following the lines
-    Cut the extra fabric and reverse

Step 2 :
-    Cut on the back on ¾’’ (2cm)
-    Sew a hem around the cut, then pin as if to close
-    Try on the doll and sew the sides
-    Cut the extra fabric. Tray again on the doll, pin on the top of the swimsuit. Sew the hem on the top, following the pins
-    Sew the sew on snap

I have always wanted to sew this very mythic dress from the movie Pretty Woman. When I saw that fabric at the store, I knew I had to try. And here it is! I quite like the result. The fabric is is very fluid almost like fabrics that are used to sew swim suits. As a result, it is very hard to sew, I had to sew very slowly and precisely. There are no breast gathers, the dress is ample and adjusts to the doll by itself.
This is a very easy dress to sew, the belt makes all the difference!

Depuis que j’ai (re) commencé à coudre pour Barbie, ça a toujours été mon rêve de tenter de faire cette tenue mythique de Pretty Woman. Quand j’ai vu ce tissu au magasin, il m’a paru évident que je devais essayer. Et voilà ! je trouve le résultat plutôt concluant. Le tissu est très souple un peu comme un tissu pour coudre les maillot de bain. Du coup, il est assez difficile à coudre, il faut y aller par petits points serrés, mais le plus c’est que l’on respecte la fluidité de la robe. Il n’y a pas de pinces sur le devant, la robe est ample et s’ajuste d’elle même.
Cette robe est très simple à coudre, la ceinture fait toute la différence !
